The best shoes in the world...

Jacket - Adidas via ASOS T-shirt - Reformation Jeans - ASOS Shoes - Stella McCartney, via Vestiaire Collective Bag - Stella McCartney
I’m composing this post in perhaps the most un-glamorous of settings; the back of a sweaty, packed-out megabus. As sleep doesn’t seem to be in the realm of vague possibility, I thought I should put my discomfort to good use, so here I am. This outfit is actually from a few weeks ago, because to be brutally honest I’ve either been applying for jobs or sleeping in before work, as opposed to documenting my outfits. I think it’s good one regardless, so I figured I’d talk through it on here.

I’m wearing the top half of my beloved Adidas two piece - which in the interest of complete transparency, I did purchase new from ASOS. However, you can absolutely find a whole section of vintage Adidas at near enough any shop you enter into, so a new purchase here was not necessary, and is something I’ll bear in mind in the future. I’m also wearing my fave black Reform…

Finding a flat and spending a few days in London

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have been hard pressed to miss my barrage of Instagram stories last weekend in honour of my signing the lease on an extortionately priced room in East London. There was a series of pretty arduous events that led to me taking the room that I did but I'm sure I'll fall in love with it pretty quickly, despite being spoilt by the Glasgow property market for the last four years.
So, my trip began - as all good things do - on a sweaty, packed out Megabus from Glasgow to London Victoria. I arrived at 6am on Thursday morning, proceeded to lament my former, fiscal self and hopped on the Victoria line to Finsbury Park where my complete ANGEL of a pal Martyna let me stay with her. We did a classic bitch-nap combo and I headed off to run some errands. We regrouped at Notting Hill Gate and ambled to Farm Girl on Portobello Road for coffee and lunch; I opted for the coconut 'bacon' BLT with a cashew milk flat white and a vegan donut, while…

Tuesday Morning.

In my (seemingly never ending) pursuit to find a graduate job, naturally I decided it would be an effective use of my time to pull my tripod out, set up self timer and snap a few photos of me enjoying - contrary to my facial expressions - my morning cup of coffee. I serendipitously decided it would also be an effective use of my time to start writing/curating/expanding my CV through creating some semblance of creative space online; hence this post.
Perhaps a good place to start would be to comment on how I dress, and the conscious decisions I make on a daily basis in order to ensure my life corroborates with my beliefs. I barely ever - save my twice yearly asos splurge and love of high end footwear - buy new clothes. Naturally, there are exceptions to this - if a company brings out a notably vegan product or promotes beliefs I endorse, such as Reformation, but the core basis of my wardrobe is made up of vintage or second hand clothing. This has numerous benefits, ranging from environ…
